FAQ
How do I contact you for a portrait sitting and what are your rates?
While I no longer offer standard portrait sittings as a product or service, I am always interested in hearing a new idea, or finding a new project to work on. There is a contact form in the About Me page and anyone who is interested in working with me in a portrait capacity should definitely fill that out. Rates will vary depending upon the project.
Can you explain your printing process?
I have been testing papers and printing methods for the past few years, and. I have chosen a Hahnemühle Platine cotton fine art paper which presents my work in the most accurate way according to my vision. Each print uses archival inks for longevity and is single matted and framed. My acrylic prints although they take longer to make (expect about 5-7 days to manufacture) are just incredible. Bright and sharp and modern, they almost seem to be three dimensional. They are made of 1/4” polished acrylic with anti-glare finish and DiBond backing to ensure premium, gallery quality images that will last a lifetime.
What is your shipping policy?
I only ship inside the United States at this time. Photographic prints are shipped standard 2-5 business days directly from the photo lab and the shipping cost is included in the price, the customer will only pay any applicable sales tax on the item. Acrylic Prints are shipped freight and should arrive within 7 business days.
Can you describe the idea behind your limited edition prints?
My prints are meant to be seen large, with the smallest of them being in the 32x40” range. However, the cost of printing and framing and shipping images of that size creates a gap between my work and many of the people who would like to own it. The limited edition prints are meant to bridge that gap. These “half size” prints are made with all the same love, care and craftsmanship as the larger versions and are available at a fraction of the cost. Each photograph is limited to 5 prints of that size, with no more to be made. For the acrylic prints, it’s the same concept. Each limited to a run of 5 prints of those sizes, when they are gone, no more will be made. At some point in the future, I will begin to print the larger sized versions of those images, also in limited runs of 5.
